For over two decades, I worked at the intersection of brand, form, and identity—shaping stories for companies and causes from the inside out. But my practice was always more personal. Sculpture, painting, and material-based work have remained at the center, even when they lived in the margins.
Nevar Studio is the result of that path—a space for design, art, and creative direction that holds tension between nature and industry, control and collapse, memory and structure. I’m interested in how materials behave, and how people respond when something doesn’t quite fit—but still holds meaning.
My work includes collaborations with other artists, including a recent installation with bonsai master Ryan Neil, exploring how living systems interact with abstraction and weight. I live and work in Oregon.
